Thor's

Thor's is named after the large limestone cavern that can be viewed from the property.

Thor's cave is a popular spectacle for tourists and only a short 15-minute walk away. It is a must see and, as we are the nearest house to the cave, can be appreciated from the comfort of your cottage every morning.

The two-storey stone-walled cottage, part of a former cowshed/hay loft, sleeps five people in two bedrooms. The open plan living space boasts a well-equipped kitchen area including fridge/freezer, electric cooker with hob, coffee machine, microwave, kettle, toaster and all basic kitchen essentials.

There is a dining table with four chairs and comfortable seating area with electric fire, smart TV with access to Netflix, an Alexa echo and a variety of different books and games for all the family.

Upstairs there is one double bedroom and a second bedroom with a triple bunk; double on the bottom, single on the top, ideal for families with three children. Both bedrooms have fabulous views over the Manifold Valley and have room for a travel cot – which can be provided, with air flow mattress and sheets - if required. The bathroom comprises WC, sink, heated towel rail, bath and shower.

The cottage has a lawn to the front with a seating area overlooking the Manifold Valley and Thor's Cave. Guests also benefit from access to our large indoor playbarn, open rear lawn and two outdoor playing areas. There is also a utility space with access to laundry facilities, including a tumble dryer and washing machine.
