Manifold

Manifold is named after the Manifold river and valley that lies approximately a quarter of a mile to west of Hall Farm.
The River Manifold rises just to the south of Buxton near Axe Edge Moor. From here it flows through the villages of Longnor, Hulme End, Wetton Mill and Ilam before until it flows into the River Dove.

The Manifold trail that runs alongside it is popular with tourists and is suitable for bikes or buggies.

The two-storey stone-walled cottage, part of a former cowshed/hay loft, sleeps four people in two bedrooms. The open plan living space boasts a well-equipped kitchen area including fridge/freezer, electric cooker with hob, coffee machine, microwave, kettle, toaster and all basic kitchen essentials.

There is a dining table with four chairs and comfortable seating area with electric fire, smart TV with access to Netflix, an Alexa echo and a variety of different books and games for all the family. Upstairs there is one double bedroom and a bunk room. Both bedrooms have fabulous views over the Manifold Valley and have room for a travel cot – which can be provided, with air flow mattress and sheets- if required. The bathroom comprises WC, sink, heated towel rail, bath and shower.

The cottage has a lawn to the front with a seating area overlooking Thors Cave and the Manifold Valley.

Guests also benefit from access to our large indoor playbarn, open rear lawn and two outdoor playing areas.
There is also a utility space with access to laundry facilities, including a tumble dryer and washing machine.
